This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump uses an 11" bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Integrated gauge ports are provided on the suction and discharge connections, along with a drain port on the bottom of the casing.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP, Weg Super E premium efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor is a 254 T-frame style, rated for 40°C ambient operation. This assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards, and the pump has a PEI of 0.92.
