This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 254 T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power and uses across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
