This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. The pump is designed for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 215 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting a Woods coupler. This equipment features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
