This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It is configured with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250°F. A bronze wear ring is included within the casing construction.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 143 T-frame style. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. This motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and operates with CCW rotation. The DOE PEI for this unit is 0.92.
