This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly supports fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design enables service without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. This motor is configured for 575V/60Hz/3PH power and features a NEMA 254 JM frame style with feet. It meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature conditions. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
