This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design, which includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with integrated pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is configured with an ODP enclosure, 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply, and across the line starting. It is mounted in a 324 NEMA frame and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly uses a Woods coupler, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and a standard coupler guard. This configuration complies with EISA standards, has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93, and an HI energy rating of 7. It is rated for 40°C ambient operating conditions.
