This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. This pump is configured for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The motor is a 75 HP Baldor unit with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 364TS frame. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit complies with DOE PEI requirements with a value of 0.9 and utilizes sealed-for-life bearings within a cast iron bearing housing.
