This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 184 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Power configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The assembly is supported by a welded base featuring an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The equipment operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C and maintains a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.94.
