This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a 213JM frame with feet and operates on a 230-460V, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system uses an across-the-line starting configuration and is suitable for 40°C ambient environments. The unit is rated with a PEI of 0.87.
