This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a 7-1/4" stainless steel impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 182 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V, 3PH power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
