This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor utilizes a NEMA 256 T-frame, rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH operation at 40°C ambient temperatures. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration features AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.97.
