This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron and includes a bronze wear ring. It is equipped with a mechanical seal utilizing a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, accommodating fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit features a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping.
This unit is configured with a 3 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in an ODP enclosure. It is built on an 182 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with an across the line starting option. This pump is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.86. The top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and allows for self-venting.
