This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 143 T-frame and operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. This unit meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.91. Features include an AEGIS shaft grounding device, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and a standard Woods coupler guard. The assembly is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and is set for counter-clockwise rotation.
