This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, maintaining a pressure rating of 125 PSI. This pump includes an EPT rubber and ceramic mechanical seal. The configuration utilizes a wear ring and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 7.5 HP with premium efficiency, a TEFC motor enclosure, at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding on a 208V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
