This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve as part of a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is included for liquid temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. The design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration for service access.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This configuration uses a JM motor frame style 213 with feet and a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Features include across the line starting, a 40°C ambient temperature rating, and CCW rotation. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
