This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover with a stainless steel NSF61 impeller that has a nominal diameter of 7-1/4". It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a bronze wear ring. The pump operates at temperatures up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and uses a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor configured with a 145 JM frame and mounting feet. The electrical power supply is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit functions in ambient temperatures up to 40°C and features a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts.
