This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The design uses a dry shaft configuration with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump assembly is compatible with clean water applications up to 300 °F and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP motor. It features a NEMA 213 T-frame ODP motor by Baldor and is compatible with 230-460/60/3 PH power. The assembly includes a Woods coupler, a welded base with a drip pan, and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. This pump meets NEMA standards, conforms to premium efficiency MG1-12.55 requirements, and has a DOE PEI of 0.88. The starting configuration is across the line, with a 40 °C ambient temperature rating.
