This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and features a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power input and uses an across the line starting method. It meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and connects to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration has a PEI of 0.88.
