This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings, and the casing includes pressure tappings and flush seal line taps.
This pump is configured with a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 145 frame. The ODP motor operates on 230/460V, 3PH power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses a Woods coupler with a standard guard and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This unit is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.88 and an HI energy rating of 12. It supports across the line starting and is rated for 40 °C ambient operation.
