This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a dry shaft design with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump housing includes pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, TEFC, premium efficiency Baldor motor in a 256T NEMA frame. The power supply requirement is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with a 40°C ambient rating and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration meets NEMA standards and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
