This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump connects to system piping via ANSI Class 125 flanges.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This motor is premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C and has a PEI of 0.9.
