This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ports, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated features include a rear pullout design for servicing, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with mounting feet, enclosed in a TEFC housing with a drip cover. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding device. Starting is managed through an across-the-line configuration. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and utilizes counter-clockwise rotation.
