This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft, protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal secures the pump, while suction and discharge connections include pressure tappings for system monitoring. The design utilizes integrally cast mounting feet for structural support and is engineered to allow service access without disturbing system piping.
The 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 3450 RPM and includes Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH electrical configuration with a DOE PEI rating of 0.47. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 4X / IP 66 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
