This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge connection. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The assembly utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 frame. The unit is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This equipment is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and an HI energy rating of 8, for operation in 40°C ambient temperatures.
