This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The unit uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, with an operating temperature limit of 225°F. It incorporates a dry shaft design and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 215T frame, configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and holds a PEI of 0.85. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods flexible coupler for the connection between the pump and the motor. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
