This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ports. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit is designed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and employs a dry shaft configuration to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a 215 NEMA frame. The electrical configuration supports 230/460V 3PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected via a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. It complies with EISA standards and features a DOE PEI value of 0.92, an HI Energy Rating of 8, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding.
