This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel and housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly features a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. A bronze wear ring is integrated into the pump construction to maintain hydraulic efficiency.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and a 40°C ambient rating. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It uses a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor, which features greasable bearings. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
