This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional physical features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 182 JM frame with feet, featuring an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly adheres to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI rating of 0.87. The starting method is across the line, and the unit maintains a 40 °C ambient temperature rating.
