This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a Tungsten Carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 300 °F clean water operation. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and a flush seal line.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is configured with a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply, a NEMA 215 T frame, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with an OSHA. The pump meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.88. The equipment is rated for 40 °C ambient temperatures and utilizes across the line starting.
