This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor is a NEMA frame 254T style and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and utilizes an across-the-line starting option.
