This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections for monitoring purposes.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor uses NEMA frame 326T and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump is mounted on a welded steel base that incorporates an integral drip pan. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and is configured for across the line starting.
