This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components. This seal assembly is rated for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 324 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a PEI value of 0.94.
