This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 8" suction and 6" discharge connections. It is constructed with a 9-1/2" bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. It includes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is built with ANSI Class 125 flanges and is configured without a wear ring. Standard features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 256 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It features a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and the assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.94. Additional equipment includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is configured for across-the-line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
