This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, using ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The pump uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. Suction and discharge connections include pressure tappings.
This unit uses a 30 HP, 3450 RPM, TEFC motor on a NEMA 286 frame with AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates on 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and meets MG1-12.55 and EISA efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. A "J" power frame is used for speeds exceeding 1750 RPM. The pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.95 and an HI energy rating of 5.
