This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit contains a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and across-the-line starting. The motor is a premium efficiency unit that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 230-460V/60/3PH at a 40°F ambient temperature rating. This pump model carries a PEI rating of 0.9.
