This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump includes a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor. This motor features an ODP enclosure, a 145 JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The pump has a PEI of 0.89 and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F.
