This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the pump shaft and circulating fluid, while a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve provides access for field maintenance. The pump includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Integrated features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This unit uses a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and across-the-line starting. The motor utilizes a 254 JM frame style with feet and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The overall pump assembly has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
