This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump is constructed without a wear ring and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with piping alignment.
The pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 286JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM with a power supply of 230-460V/60/3PH. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting configuration is across the line. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a counter-clockwise rotation. This model has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
