This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. Integrated flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are included. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration aids in self-venting.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP, 3PH, 230-460V motor. It uses a Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 40 °C ambient rating, and CCW rotation. It utilizes a 184 JM motor frame style with feet for mounting and includes an across the line starting option.
