This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump casing is cast iron, and it utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, and it is rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit also incorporates an AEGIS shaft grounding ring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7 1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA 254 T-frame design and operates on 230-460/60/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and uses an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor for operation in a counter-clockwise direction under 40°C ambient conditions.
