This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and includes a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. It also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design enables maintenance without disturbing connected piping, while the top center line discharge orientation simplifies piping layouts and aids in self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 40 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is configured with a 324 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates on 230-460V/3PH/60Hz power with an across the line starting option and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This unit rotates in a counter-clockwise direction and adheres to NEMA standards. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
