This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design using a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP WEG Premium Efficiency motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is mounted in a NEMA 182 frame and configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is installed on a welded structural steel base with a drip pan. The pump utilizes a power frame size of "H", connected via a Woods coupler and covered by a standard coupler guard. This configuration is EISA compliant with a PEI of 0.86 and an HI Energy Rating of 14.
