This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump assembly includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP TEFC motor. It uses a NEMA 145T frame and is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The Baldor motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame features greaseable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.86.
