This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame configuration. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. This unit features a premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The starting configuration is across the line, and the unit is rated for 40°C ambient conditions.
