This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213T NEMA frame. The motor is an ODP enclosure rated for 230-460V/60/3PH and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. This assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The system features AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for across-the-line starting. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
