This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The nominal impeller diameter is 6-1/4". It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 230-460V/60/3 Baldor motor. It is built on a NEMA 184T frame with an ODP enclosure and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. This assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
