This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel and a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a bronze shaft sleeve utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are provided, along with flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T frame style from Baldor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The unit includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
