This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly utilizes a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports pump self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperature.
