This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 213JM motor frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The electrical input is 200V/60Hz/3PH, utilizing across-the-line starting and CCW rotation. The motor is NEMA standard and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.96. The pump is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient temperature.
