This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing and cover. The pump assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve, a bronze wear ring, and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The unit features a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing the pump without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a 284 JM frame style with feet and operates in a 40°C ambient environment. This unit meets NEMA standards and features a premium efficiency motor with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
